Dr Paula at our Goodwood location offers functional movement sessions with the aim of assessing movements and exercise patterns, and correcting movements that may reinforce poor posture, or increase your risk of injury in the future.
The sessions can be used as part of your existing exercise plan, or an ‘at-home’ set of resistance exercises can be prescribed to improve posture and help you meet your health goals.
Dr Paula will guide you through light, resisted movements ask you to rest, restore proper posture, reinforce that posture using an activator adjustment where needed to rebuild the brain-body connection.
We're dedicated to serving you in a caring environment. Whether you already have a training program in place, or are beginning exercise for the very first time.
The session will run for approximately 45 minutes. In that time your posture and current technique will be assessed and refined. Activator adjustments to link the brain and the body for improved posture and exercise technique in the future.

A private outdoor area has been set up for your convenience at the practice. We encourage you to take what you learn in the sessions with you wherever you go.
There is only so much an adjustment can do. Years of exercising and reinforcing poor posture is having huge impacts on our lives. Dr Paula brings a refined skill set and 20 years of Chiropractic to this unique health service.
These sessions should not replace your current exercise routine, but rather refine your technique to get the most out of them; while preventing injury. Adjustments alone do help, but for long-term optimal function we can offer more.
